Destiny's Child
00:00 / 01:35
Destiny's Child

When first you stood in this room
You were a child
I was afraid
Knowing the future you held
Destiny's Child
Carry our seed to the stars

Throw out the sails
Harness the sun
I stay behind

Know that my spirit will sail
Destiny's Child

Godspeed
Destiny's Child

This is what I came up with, and presented at BMI on 57th Street in Manhattan in the autumn of 1991.
