People used to hide their sneakers by the kitchen door

Lace ‘em up at night to chase the Smokin’ Blue Fandango

Now that it’s the Future we don’t wear no shoes no more

 

But we can still dance

We can still move our feet

Grooving to the Future Beat

Here it is tomorrow

All of us still young at heart

Tripping down the Martian Midway at the Lunar Mardi Gras

All the local Loonies laugh to see the tourists spin

Line ‘em up at night for showtime at the Queso Verdi

Now that it’s the Future

Loonies let the show begin
